welcome

My name is Kellie.

I am a professional wedding, event and portrait photographer located in South Central, Kentucky!

My photo blog began many years ago as a way for friends and family to watch our children grow! My passion for photography also has grown over the years much like my children and I am very proud of my versatility and style.

I believe fun, relaxing and REAL best describes my photography and one of my many goals is to present you with the kind of memories that I would love to hang on my own walls! I want your photos to tell the story of your life!

Thank you for stopping by and your interest in my work and the images I am creating! I look forward to sharing my photography with you!

Reed

November 27, 2009

Reed’s Mom just happens to be my first cousin and also a college roommate!

When she asked me to come up one day to photograph her son Reed during his Horse Riding lessons I couldn’t wait!

Although I can be a little  …. lets just say intimated around horses since I was thrown from one at a very age …. Reed’s favorite horse was gentle and also very sweet!

Thankfully Jill reminded me to wear old shoes or even boots because it could be a little messy around the farm! =]

I loved all of these images we captured this day because Reed loved being outside and this was such a fun thing to do!  When parents choose to do their portraits in locations that are special to them I get so excited!
