My trip to WPPI was a complete whirlwind and I am slowly catching back with myself!
I have become so accustomed to documenting lives of other people that sometimes I forgot to document my own…. therefore the lack of many personal photos from this trip! Now my iPhone photo gallery tells a different story! Maybe I will post a few of those later! Gotta love being at photography convention with tons of photographers, surrounded by tons of fancy equipment and the iPhone becomes the camera of ‘choice’ for the week! I see a lot of irony in that myself! =P
Catching up with old Friends …..
March 16, 2010I was ecstatic when my friend Amy called me about photographing her son Benjamin’s 6 months Photos!
Amy and I have been friends since 2nd grade! It seems like only yesterday .. I know that is so cliche, but really it seems like not that long ago!
This is Benjamin and he would truly make your heart smile! He was so happy, so loved …. his eyes just sparkled!
My favorite part about this session was all his Mom had to do was start singing to him and he would start smiling from the inside out!
Amy, thank you for allowing me to take these milestone photos for you! I hope you will treasure the images and the memory of this time!

This little one was absolutely precious and he was not very excited about his first photo session, but between a determined photographer and patient parents …I think you can see who won that battle!
Congratulations to the Bertram Family that has just grown by two feet and miles and miles of love!

I have been to Vegas and visited the desert!
(Did you know the desert was COLD???? I had no idea!)
During the last few days at WPPI, I have laughed, loved, learned and grown not only as a photographer, but also as a person!
I have made new friends and grown closer to the ones I knew before the conference.

It has been an amazing experience that I will never forget!
Today is my first full day back and it has been a little rough trying to settle back into the normal routines of my life, but I can not wait to show you some of the new things I have in store!!

2010 has already been truly amazing………..I am not stopping here!
I want to laugh, love, learn and grown some more and I want to share more of that journey with the people who care about me the most!
