Today was a special day for me!

As we start a new year and reflect on the past and focus on the future, I had the opportunity to celebrate both!

This is Chloe!

I have been photographing her since before she was even born!

I have looooooved watching her grow through my lens and it warms my heart that I call her parents my friends!

This sums up by business!

I am truly blessed with wonderful clients that invite me to document their story!

Their mother and I have been trying to get together since early summer, but I am glad it worked out to catch the last few leaves of the beautiful fall we have had!

Almost  impossible to believe how much they have grown!  I have been photographing this ‘little’ sister since she was only a few weeks old!!

This photo adventure kept me giggling because the temperaments of these two siblings are so reflective to my own children!

Elliot is so calm and easy going ….. Morgan is sweet, slightly strong willed and possibly mischievous in her own way!

So adorable!  Here is a quick sneak peak for Mom and Dad:

Kenny and I have known each other probably since we were in Kindergarten.

During our high school years Kenny also became friends with this guy that was new to our school ….his name was Shannon.

Well to make a long story a short one…. I married Shannon and Kenny was our best man at our wedding! Pretty cool stuff! =]

I was completely honored to document their new addition to their family last week and other than a few pesky mosquitos … it was a perfect evening! =]

Macy is such a sweet Big sister and has taken on her new role so lovingly!

Even though she will always be the ‘big’ sister I feel sure her new brother will always look out for her too.

But for now …. she will take good care of him!

Such a sweet family ….. we feel so blessed to also call them our friends!

Wow … how much he has grown from a sleepy newborn into a toddler on the run!

His eyes sparkled ….. He has the biggest most beautiful eyes!!  Adorable!  Such a sweet family!

It has been such a joy to see her grow and become friends with her parents!  I even have an invitation to her 1st Birthday party!  =]

Her little personality grows as well.

She is a Mommy’s girl and that adores her Daddy too and all the love this little family has is glowing at each session!!

I cannot wait to share the rest, but here is my favorite so far:

She just happens to be family, but without being biased at all … I think she is BEAUTIFUL!!

Good thing she has a protective big brother and a Daddy that will have to stay busy keeping all those boys away!  =]

These are a few shots we did for a beauty pageant she was entering recently!  A lot of times people worry about locations for their photos … these were made right in Kelsay’s front yard!!!

Best of luck pretty lady!!  I don’t believe you will need it though!

I first met Miss Emry when she was around 6 months old!  She will forever be known as my Double Cola baby from the shot taken at Dunagan’s Store at Mill Springs!  =]  With a couple more sessions in between this one I still could not believe how much Emry had grown since last fall!

She is now a full time, on the move, busy, happy, exploring toddler!  Did I mention she was busy and on the move??  =]

Mom was tired, Dad was tired, I .. well I was tired too, but not Emry….. she definitely outlasted the three of us!

I had so many favorites from this session that I had a difficult time narrowing it down.  I am glad her Mommy has to pick out which one to hang her walls and not me!  =]

He was one of my very first newborns that I photographed!  I was looking for a ‘new’born to try out some new props and ideas and my sister referred me to her hairdresser, Jessica who was expecting at any time. She was excited and willing to let her little boy make his modeling debut in my home studio!

If my memory is correct, she arrived at my house with her little bundle of joy  when he was just a tiny 11 day old baby!  I caught up with this little guy at six months old and once again for his birthday!

Watching my own children grown and develop is truly amazing and having the honor and privilege of doing so with my customers and friends it such also a blessing that I take a lot of pride in!

Happy 1st Birthday Gage!  May this year be filled with even more wonder and amazement!

Gage had a little moral support from his cousin, Jaxon during his photo shoot!  He also wanted to share Gage’s new wagon he got for his Birthday.  =]

Gage didn’t seem to mind one bit and was happy to share!

Since Gage fell asleep in the car on the way to our meeting place, I got a chance to spend a little time with Jaxon while Gage snoozed just a few extra minutes!

He was on the go!!!!  So off we went!!  I love the giggles that went along with his curiosity!
