This past weekend I attended a Beth Moore conference with my Mom and Sister in Lexington, KY. There were so many wonderful things that I walked away with in my heart, but one that really resonated with me was her encouragement to live a life full of gratitude!
I left Rupp Arena and after a quick lunch I was off to photograph a wedding! In the back of my mind I knew my low tire pressure light was on, but after checking all tires and everything appeared to be okay I went on. I finished up my evening and drove home….. the light was still on. When I pulled into the garage I did sigh a relief for making it safely home.
Fast forward to Monday morning when I took my car to have it checked out …… this is what was found in my tire:
I kept the screw in my pocket the rest of the day. I noticed it several times, but it wasn’t until I got home that I pulled it out… ready to toss it… when I realized the message it was clearly trying to impose on me!
There were so many things within a 48 hour time span that I needed to be thankful for simply because of this object lodged in one of my tires. So many things that could have gone ‘wrong’, but they did not.
It may seem small and forgotten now, but I chose to keep this item so I will see it often and be reminded to be grateful for the blessings in my life… both small and large, both expected and unexpected, both joyful and sorrowful and feel blessed with each day! ~Kellie
