Such fun …..
July 3, 2011{Rachel and Phillip} Their new story begins!
May 18, 2011You could not believe the weather we experienced on this couple’s wedding day!
It went from a complete down pour to sunny skies for the wedding and portraits and then right back to heavy dark skies!
I begged for just a few more minutes with this cute couple before they left for their honeymoon and I am so glad we made it happen!
This is one of my favorites:
{Lyndsie and Michael} Wedding Day
March 25, 2011What is a great way to kick off a new year, but with a beautiful wedding!
1.1.11
That date seemed forever away when Lyndsie and I met over over coffee on a snowy day early in 2010!
New Years Day!
It sounded perfect and I could not wait!
When we met up again in the spring for their engagement photos I felt an instant connection with this sweet couple!
They had dated for an extended period of time and they were in anxious anticipation of the next stage in their life!
When New Year’s Day rolled around the skies were cloudy and dark and temperatures were just a little chilly, but that didn’t hinder the warm mood inside this beautiful Church in Somerset, Ky!
The Bride was running a little behind schedule so I had a little extra time to photograph some details!
The Beautiful Bride ~Lyndsie
This Church had the most gorgeous window and even though the skies were heavy outdoors the colors glistened!
While the girls are always in a hustle and bustle to get ready… I love walking into the room where the guys are just hanging out!
They are most always dressed and ready to go… with extra play time on their agenda!
The Handsome Groom-Michael
Michael and Lyndsie were married in front of many family and friends that came out to celebrate the new year and their love!
After a few quick portraits with the Bride and Groom we headed to The Center For Rural Development for the reception!
The Winter Theme was warm and inviting!!
I loved their Exit!
One of my favorites!!
Congratulations to Lyndsie and Michael!!
Once the newlyweds drove away … there stood the father of the groom … with his sparkler!
This was the ONLY one still burning!
And it Burned. And it Burned!
Finally, he remarked to the remaining guests that stood outside in the cool night air to ‘follow the light’ and return inside!

{Adam and Olga} Wedding Day
March 11, 2011Finally … I am getting around to blogging my final wedding of 2010, but I am here … and the wedding of Olga and Adam was one of my favorites!
It was a beautiful, crisp fall day in Kentucky! I had not had the opportunity to meet either the bride or groom prior to the wedding day, but after introductions were made I felt like part of the family with one exception ….. I understood very little of the conversation whirling around me! My spanish skills were definitely lacking, but I smiled .. nodded … and if I got a blank look the bride would help me out! =]
I literally wanted to squeal when I saw the bride’s shoes and her floral bouquets!!! Gorgeous!!!
Such a Beautiful Bride:
The groom and his guys were looking handsome as well!!
Standing in the middle of a beautiful Catholic Church, my first thought should probably not have been ‘Holy Backlight’, but …. it was! =]
I love backlight!
I love shooting into the sun, but for a wedding ceremony ……. well …… I decided that loved that too! =]
Such a Romantic feel to it!
The new Mr. and Mrs!
I absolutely loved the Hollywood feel this photo had!
Immediately after the Ceremony we headed straight to the reception site and finished up our photos in the front lawn of the Hotel!
The air was cool, but the light was warm and delightful!
The reception details were so unique, colorful and full of personality!
Congratulations to Olga and Adam…. I wish you all the happiness in world!

It felt like such an accomplishment to hug my couple goodbye at the end of the evening! It had been an amazing day!
I had also survived my busiest year … so far! =]
